Melissa Sleeman is the managing director of Gameplan Bookkeeping & Payroll Services (formerly known as Little Miss Sorted). She is married to Paul and has two daughters. Melissa attended Lincoln University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management & Hotel Management. With 15 years of experience in accounts management and payroll positions across various sectors, ranging from accounting firms to not-for-profit organizations, and even director roles in the hospitality industry.
In 2021, Melissa commenced employment at Gameplan (previously known as Gameplan Financial Services) on a part-time contract. This role enabled her to establish her own venture, Little Miss Sorted Bookkeeping & Payroll Services, in 2022. Melissa's tenure at Gameplan provided her with a platform to engage in a sector she deeply cares about - not-for-profits and charitable trusts, driven by her appreciation for the ethos underpinning their activities.
While getting to grow Little Miss Sorted which primarily focuses on providing bookkeeping services to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across various industries, with a specialized emphasis on the hospitality sector, encompassing restaurants, bars, pubs, and bottle stores.
In early 2024, an opportunity emerged for Melissa to acquire Gameplan, which has seen the merge of two to what we have now Gameplan - Bookkeeping & Payroll Services.
